Christopher Bopst (pictured above) and Peter J. Galie have written an article showing the likely cost of a convention to be $55 Million, as opposed to the erroneously propagated $350 Million cost.

Is  $55 Million ( $2.75 per New Yorker ) too high a cost for a process that could lead to a state constitution that secures freedom and prosperity for future generations? –Ed
